Elastic bandages are available in various sizes and can be fastened with metal clips or tape. Follow these steps for effective wrapping:

• Hold the bandage with the roll start facing upward.
• Start at the top of the foot beneath the toes, leaving toes exposed.
• Wrap twice around the foot, moving from outside to inside.
• Proceed to the heel and wrap in a spiral pattern, overlapping by 1/2 width each time.
• Cross the bandage over the foot, moving behind the ankle and upward toward the calf.
• Fasten the end; avoid using metal clips in skin folds like the back of the knee.
