Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing Ultra Thin with Self-Adhesive
Hydrocolloid dressing is a special kind of wound dressing used in the treatment of mildly exuding wounds, like minor burns or bed sores. These dressings are waterproof, and unlike simpler dressings, they provide a moist and insulating environment to promote wound healing.
The inner layer consists of gel-forming agents (carboxymethylcellulose, gelatin, and pectin) which absorb exudate—drainage made of water, white blood cells, and proteins. This creates an optimal moist healing environment, allowing for faster recovery and reduced scar formation.
How to Use:

Cleanse the wound and periwound skin; ensure it is dry.

Select a dressing allowing for a 2cm overlap beyond the wound edges.

Remove the backing paper to expose the adhesive surface.

Center the dressing, press from the center outward, and hold for 30 seconds.
