Product Description

Hydrocolloid dressing is a kind of elastic dressing made of pressure sensitive adhesive with CMC (carboxymethycellulose) polymeric hydrogel.

It has the ability to absorb wound exudation. After absorbing the exudate, the hydrophilic particles in the dressing can form moist gel, adhere to the base of the wound, and maintain a wet environment to promote wound healing.

It is sticky and can form an occlusive wound. Closed healing environment can promote the proliferation of microvessels and the formation of granulation tissue, thus accelerating wound healing.

It performs a debridement function. Hydrocolloids contain endogenous enzymes which promote the dissolution of fibrin, while the closed environment helps macrophages clear necrotic tissue.
