Silicone foam dressing is an absorbent, atraumatic dressing made from an absorbent core and silicone gel. The wound contact surface is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel that does not stick to the wound or cause trauma to delicate new tissue upon removal. This layer is slightly tacky, facilitating application to intact skin without causing pain or epidermal stripping.

Method of Use:

• Ensure the wound area is clean and dry.
• Select a dressing that overlaps the wound margin by at least 2 cm.
• Remove the release film and apply to the wound area.
• Border-free versions can be cut to size before removal of the protective film.

Frequency of Change: The interval is determined by the degree of exudate. The dressing may be left for up to 7 days, depending on wound care requirements.
